RTR Vehicles Drift Team

Since its inception in 2010, RTR has won four Formula Drift championships—two with Vaughn Gittin Jr. behind the wheel, one with Chelsea DeNofa driving, and the latest with James Deane at the wheel. The team has since grown to a multi-car team with the addition of James Deane and Ben Hobson.

Vaughn Gittin Jr.

World champion drifter and Professional Fun-Haver, Vaughn Gittin, Jr., is best known for his aggressive, foot-to-the-floor, big-smoke driving style from behind the wheel of arguably the most recognizable cars in drifting: the 2024 Monster Energy Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD.

Vaughn’s success on the track has helped grow the RTR Motorsports team into the world’s premiere drift team competing in the highest level of Formula Drift. Since its inception in 2010 RTR Motorsports has won two Formula Drift championships with Vaughn behind the wheel and grown to a multi-car team with the addition of James Deane and Ben Hobson.

James Deane

James Deane has established himself as one of the fastest-growing personalities in the sport and boasts the largest following of any Irish motorsport personality in the world.

In 2024 James Deane made Formula Drift history by becoming the first person to earn four Formula Drift Championships.
