You may remember when we first unleashed the Bronco Fun-Runner LT at SEMA 2022. Now, it’s back—bigger, bolder, and more capable than ever. The evolution of this one-of-a-kind build represents not only the next step in extreme Bronco performance but also a milestone for RTR Vehicles Off-Road. Reimagined with a new look, refined components, and the heart of Godzilla, this Bronco Fun-Runner LT is officially the world’s first 7.3L “Godzilla” V8-swapped 6th-generation Bronco.

Built for those who push the limits—just like the RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team founders Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Loren Healy—the Bronco Fun-Runner LT was engineered from the ground up to dominate the harshest terrains on Earth while still being able to cruise back home in comfort.

“We’re building this for those that dream like Loren and I do,” said Vaughn Gittin Jr. “We’ve spent the last few years pushing the Bronco to its limits on and off the racing circuit and now we’re excited to offer something that lets others push those same limits.”

Under the Hood: World’s First 7.3L “Godzilla” V8 swapped 6th-Gen. Ford Bronco

At the core of the evolved Bronco LT is a Ford Performance 7.3L “Godzilla” V8, delivering 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque—significantly more than the factory 2.7L twin-turbo V6, and an intoxicating V8 rumble. It’s paired with a Ford 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission, bringing both brute strength and seamless drivability to this off-road weapon.

Purpose-Built to Conquer

This build isn’t just about power—it’s about capability. Drawing from RTR’s Ultra4 race-winning DNA, the Bronco Fun-Runner LT features:

  • Up to 18 inches of wheel travel with custom long-travel suspension
  • RTR Off-Road Team-spec FOX Performance Elite shocks (2.5 coilovers up front, 3.0 bypass in the rear)
  • 74Weld billet portal axles
  • Massive 42-inch Nitto Trail Grapplers
  • Hydraulic steering system built to command oversized tires with ease

From Moab’s famous wheeling trails to the unforgiving terrain of Johnson Valley, the Bronco LT is engineered to handle it all.

Loren Healy adds, “This is everything we’ve been dreaming about doing to a Bronco since day one. It’s aggressive, it’s functional, and it’s ready to tackle anything from Moab to Johnson Valley while still turning heads on the street while going out to dinner with the family.”

On the exterior, the Fun-Runner LT features RTR Vehicles designed Fun-haver widebody fiberglass fenders allow the space for the 42” Nitto Trail Grapplers and all the travel provided by the RTR and Triton engineering designed long travel suspension system which is controlled by Fox coilover and bypasses.

Fun-Haver Off-Road front and rear bumpers, integrated RIGID lighting solutions, and weld-on rock sliders. The RTR upper grille, RTR spare tire carrier, and RTR light bar take the aggressive styling and rugged capability RTR Vehicles is known for to the next level.

Inside, RECARO Cross Sportster ORV seats, developed with the RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team, deliver unmatched containment and comfort for all four passengers, making high-speed off-road driving safer and more enjoyable.

From hard-fought race wins in the Ultra4 4400 and 4600 class to trail-tested adventures in the harshest terrain, the Bronco Fun-Runner LT takes all those learnings and delivers a no-compromise Bronco that can be purchased, built, and owned.
