RTR Vehicles Off-Road is thrilled to welcome Bailey Campbell to the team as the newest driver in our off-road family. A fierce competitor with an impressive racing pedigree, Bailey brings years of experience, determination, and technical expertise to RTR. As Bailey gears up for her first race as an RTR Vehicles Off-Road driver at the Mint 400, she will be piloting the 2021 and 2022 King of the Hammers-winning 4600-class Bronco—a proven machine that Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Loren Healy have dominated in recent years. Bailey’s long-term journey with RTR Vehicles Off-Road will see her behind the wheel of her own 4600-class Bronco, set to debut later this year, with a laser focus on racing at King of the Hammers 2026.

Meet RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team’s Newest Driver: Bailey Campbell

Bailey’s passion for off-road racing is deeply rooted in her upbringing. The daughter of legendary off-road racer and multiple-time King of the Hammers champion Shannon Campbell, she grew up surrounded by the sport. But rather than riding on the coattails of her father’s legacy, Bailey carved her own path. From an early age, she worked in the family shop, learning every aspect of building, maintaining, and fine-tuning competition vehicles. Her hands-on experience gave her an edge as she honed her driving skills, making her a formidable competitor in the toughest off-road events in the world.

Her journey began in rock crawling competitions, where she mastered the art of precision driving over extreme terrain. Unlike many young racers, Bailey took an active role in fabricating and wrenching on her own race rigs, reinforcing her deep mechanical knowledge. By her late teens, she had transitioned into Ultra4 Racing’s 4400 class—the sport’s highest level—where she regularly competed against the best in the industry. Over the past 13 years, Bailey has earned a reputation as one of the most talented and determined racers in the off-road world.

Racing Achievements

  • The first woman to lead King of the Hammers in the premier 4400 class, one of the most grueling off-road endurance races in the world.

  • Ironwomaned her first 560+ mile race, completing the entire event solo—an achievement that requires extreme mental and physical endurance.

  • Consistent podium finisher in multiple Ultra4 events, proving her skill across various terrains and race formats.

  • Ford Performance driver, competing in the Rebelle Rally and 57th SCORE International Baja 1000 for the second consecutive year.

Bailey Campbell’s Future with RTR Vehicles Off-Road

The RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team is looking forward to bringing proven competition strategies, a unique approach to content creation, and innovative motorsports marketing to support Bailey in many facets as she enters the next chapter of her career. To kick things off, the team has started building a brand-new Ford Bronco for her, with plans to debut it later this year. This latest and greatest Bronco race truck will take the learnings of the last four years of RTR and Ford Performance racing in the 4600 stock class and improve upon those learnings, ensuring that she has a steed capable of winning that coveted race.

"Since I started racing Ultra4, Bailey has always been a standout to me on and off the track. Her passion and dedication to her craft and fans is admirable, and her skills—whether behind the wheel or wrenching on her rig—are inspiring. She is the full package when it comes to what’s needed to be successful in this space, and I am very much looking forward to the growth and fun that is ahead with her joining the RTR team." – Vaughn Gittin Jr., President and Founder, RTR Vehicles

For Bailey, joining RTR is an opportunity to continue growing as a racer while competing with a team that shares her passion for innovation and performance. "I’m looking forward to this new adventure as an RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team driver. It has been in the works for a bit now, and it couldn’t have felt more real until I was getting fitted in the driver’s seat of the 4600 Bronco a few weeks ago!" – Bailey Campbell, RTR Vehicles Off-Road Team driver

Loren Healy, a longtime friend and competitor of Bailey, echoed the excitement: "It’s been so cool watching Bailey grow up in the Ultra4 family. I literally remember her running around the pits in diapers. Now, she is a superstar athlete competing for overall wins and joining in the fun of the RTR Vehicles team! I know she is going to do more amazing things with us in Broncos and whatever else we throw at her!" – Loren Healy, multiple-time off-road champion
