For many, a car is more than just a mode of transportation; it's a reflection of personal passion and a connection to a community. Christina's story exemplifies this bond, as she transformed a unique piece of Mustang history into her dream ride with the help of the RTR Vehicles team.

Discovering the 60th Anniversary Mustang

After attending our Championship Celebration this year, Christina felt the magnetic pull of the RTR community. Not long after the event, Christina stopped by Tindol Ford, where something caught her eye—a 2025 60th Anniversary Mustang in Wimbledon White sitting on the showroom floor. The car already had a sense of history, paying tribute to six decades of Mustang greatness, but Christina saw even more potential.

The car already had a sense of history, paying tribute to six decades of Mustang greatness, but Christina saw even more potential.

She already owned a Mustang with Showstopper Red interior, but this Anniversary model had a uniqueness to it that she couldn’t resist. The opportunity to make it truly hers—while adding the RTR touch—was something she couldn’t pass up.

This special edition pays homage to six decades of Mustang heritage, featuring exclusive design elements such as:

  • Exclusive 60th Anniversary Badges: Adorning the fenders and trunk lid, these badges are a modern tribute to the original 1965 Mustang cloisonné emblems.
  • Distinctive Grille: A unique grille with a 1964-style mesh design and silver-accented nostrils that serve as functional air intakes.
  • Side Graphics and 20-Inch Wheels: Iconic Silver side graphics paired with Dark Gravity Gray 20-inch wheels featuring bright machined details and Vermillion Red center caps.

A Personal Touch at the RTR Lab

Eager to infuse her new Mustang with RTR's signature styling, Christina brought her vehicle to the RTR Lab for a Mustang RTR Spec 2 transformation.

Every Mustang RTR Spec 2 enhances both aesthetics and performance, including:

  • RTR Exterior Aero Components: Featuring the RTR Upper Grille with integrated LED Air Intakes, a unique graphics package, and a serialized dash plaque.
  • 20-Inch Wheels: Christina selected the RTR Aero 5 Wheels in Liquid Charcoal, perfectly complementing the Wimbledon White paint.
  • Full RTR Tactical Performance Suspension: This setup includes lowering springs, front and rear adjustable shocks and struts, and adjustable sway bars, allowing drivers to fine-tune their vehicle's suspension dynamics to best suit their driving preferences.

While we typically remove factory badging during the transformation, Christina wanted to keep a piece of the car’s heritage intact. So, in a rare instance, we left the rear 60th Anniversary badge right where it belonged—a small detail that made all the difference in making the build feel personal to her.

A Memorable Delivery Experience

Upon completion, Christina returned to the RTR Lab to take delivery of her personalized Mustang RTR Spec 2. Although Vaughn Gittin Jr. couldn't be present, he added a special touch by autographing beneath the hood and on the dash, right next to the serialized plaque.
